This is an aqueduct built by the Roman's in the south of France. We were there at sunset, so the lighting was amazing. The structure was HUGE and according to our tour guide there is no bonding agent between the bricks, they're cut in such a way that they hold themselves together.
This is another of those photos that I didn't realize I had until I got home and looked through them, and another one that I have since fallen in love with. The smooth water and the awesome shadow of such an old structure are awesome, in my opinion.
