When I was at Denver Comic Con over the weekend I had a ton of people asking what character I was supposed to be. When I told them I was just me I would get one of two responses: "Wow, cool outfit!" or "You'd make an epic comic book character!" with the second one being most common. I got it close to twenty times over the course of the weekend.
So I figured, eh, what the hell, I haven't drawn myself in awhile! Let's go doodle.
I do have every piece of this outfit and it all looks like this. The mask is my Black Veil Brides Legion of the Black mask, painted with nail polish to make it shiny. The jacket and pants are hand-made from a local steampunk shop (yeah, that's right, I've got a local steampunk shop!) and I adore them. The boots were bought at Payless and I modified them to make them steampunky. It is my all-time favorite outfit and people at the con seemed to find it pretty epic to which made me really happy. The jacket also comes apart, with the whole bottom/tail part zipping off to turn it into a short jacket and the hood zips off as well.
I don't know if I'll ever actually do anything with this, but it was still fun to draw.
