Had a ton of fun with this one! Couldn't figure out how to draw a couple of the fingers on her left hand, though, so I just...ah...cut them off. As you do.
This illustration is part of my Pretty Lady project. As an illustrator/author, I have a tendency to get too bogged down in the developmental stages of illustrations, especially the backstory of the characters, even if I'm only going to draw them once. So this year I set myself the challenge to draw 15 ladies without doing ANY developmental work. Just winging it and having fun. There will be 15 illustrations of the women just standing on a blank background, and 15 illustrations of them in a scene. Once the project is complete I'll be releasing a collected art book and a coloring book of all 30 illustrations!
